Flag Waver

A rusty patriot, waving the Union Jack.

The tapestry behind, at Haddon Hall, was commissioned by Charles I, king of England, Scotland and Ireland and an avid art collector. He was executed in 1649, and his extraordinary art collection was sold on, whilst England was a republic. The monarchy was restored in 1660.
